Once we realized raw oatmeal was so good, we never cooked it again!
This is a delicious raw, filling meal anytime.
1/2 cup raw oatmeal
1 small knob fresh ginger chopped very small or 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
small handful dried cranberries
small handful dried banana chips
fresh raw nut or seed milk
Assemble your oatmeal, ginger and fruit in a bowl. Pour over raw nut milk. There is no need to strain your nut milk. You won’t notice the nut fiber when it is mixed with the oatmeal.
You can assemble this oatmeal ahead of time using around 4 cups of oatmeal and dried powdered ginger instead of fresh. Store in a large glass jar. Simply spoon out the amount of oatmeal you want and top with fresh nut or seed milk.
