Cranberry Ginger Oatmeal

This is a delicious raw, filling meal anytime. If you have time you can assemble the oatmeal the night before to help the hemp milk soften the oatmeal.

Ingredients

1/2 cup raw oatmeal
1 small knob fresh ginger chopped very small or 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
small handful dried cranberries
small handful dried banana chips or chopped fresh apple
Fresh filtered raw nut or seed milk

Note: If you don’t strain your nut milk the fibre content of your oatmeal will be better. It doesn’t bother some, others don’t like it.

Method

Assemble your oatmeal, ginger and fruit in a bowl. Pour over raw nut milk.

You can assemble this oatmeal ahead of time using around 4 cups of oatmeal and dried powdered ginger instead of fresh. Store in a large glass jar. Simply spoon out the amount of oatmeal you want and top with fresh nut or seed milk.
